40th Anniversary of the first Concorde Test Flight – On 9 April 1969, Chief Test Pilot Brian Trubshaw made his first flight in the British-built prototype Concorde 002 (G-BSST).

On that memorable day six brave men took to the air from Filton, near Bristol, landing 22 minutes later at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.
